It is a day to honour and acknowledge these amazing people, and to really let them know that they are undertaking a valued & respected job - despite their not actually being paid for it!
As a part of the day we are encouraging Parents & Caregivers to see themselves as Early Childhood Educators, and we are inviting them to get passionate about their job.
So often our parents & caregivers in the home go un-noticed and unrecognised because they are not undertaking a paid profession. There is generally little feedback, praise or support for all that they do, despite the fact that they work just as hard as any paid employee.
They really are the forgotten members of our workforce.
Thank You Day is our chance to let them know that they are NOT forgotten; in fact they have our support.
And with your help we can also start to shift the way in which society relates to these individuals.
Because let’s face it. If we are supporting parents, we are supporting families.
Let’s empower our parents and caregivers!

Even if you’re a parent who is only home on the weekends and evenings, this day is still about you! Being a parent doesn’t stop just because you work 9 till 5. You are all the UNPAID EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS of this country, and we're here to support every one of you!!
